    Simple design

If you prefer more modern and simple design accents around your home, this is a perfect addition. I do not like most freestanding paper towel holders with the arm because they look clunky. This design is much cleaner, and the weighted bottom eliminates needing the arm to separate sheets. The base also has a non-slip foam pad to prevent it from sliding. The top of the holder screws on and off to hold rolls in place. Any stains on the metal wipe off quickly, and it does not attract many fingerprints. If you are looking for a more minimal design, this is a great option.

    Umbra paper towel holder.

This is a pretty and functional item for your kitchen counter. I always have a roll of paper towels near my sink and wanted a holder that would be unobtrusive but still sturdy. Paper towel rolls slip easily onto an off of this holder. The nice brushed chrome finish looks clean and fresh and has a slim line that doesn't get in the way. I really like the weighted base with rubber bottom because you never have to worry about jerking the whole thing off when your reaching for a towel quickly. Very pleased with this product and would recommend.

This is a heavyweight paper towel holder - works great and looks elegant

This is a heavyweight paper towel holder - works great and looks elegant, except I don't like how you have to screw off the top to change out the paper towel roll. too much of an extra step and when I need paper towels, I have no free hands to do this.

Doesn't slide or tip. Holds large rolls of Bounty easily.

The holder has a nice heavy base and shows no inclination to tip over, which is a problem I’ve had in the past. It doesn’t slide when you pull on the paper towels, which is another big plus. It holds Bounty rolls just fine and they can be easily slipped over the ball at the top. Not cheap looking and is holding up well.

It is a good value for the price and I see no reason ...

The design and durability of this paper towel holder is exceptional. For style it would fit well in a modern looking kitchen or one that is predominately stainless steel. It is heavy and I can see it withstanding a strong tug pulling on the paper towel roll. It is a good value for the price and I see no reason why it wouldn't last forever.

    Nice sturdy paper towel holder

The Umbra Teardrop Die-Cast Metal Paper Towel Holder works much better than my current plastic paper towel holder with its heavier weight and sturdier base stand. As opposed to some reviewer comments that we needed to unscrew the top, I was able to just slide my paper towel down without removing the top which is quite convenient. The paper holder also looks quite nice and blend well with my other kitchen utensils.

    A little wiggly

This paper towel holder looks great on my counter top in the stainless steel finish. My only issue with it is that the post wiggles quite a bit and there is no way to tighten it up. This is a small annoyance but doesn’t affect the function or look of the holder.
