In the spirit of the fall season, a group of Umbra employees from the marketing and design departments headed to the flagship store located in Downtown Toronto to create a brand-new window display featuring Fountain Planter and Hub Beveled Mirror.

The team took inspiration from 2020 fall design trends and botanical artist Sophie Parker (@wifenyc on Instagram). The team wanted to include a tinted mirror, as it was on trend, as well as a fall color palette consisting of pinks, oranges, yellows and reds. Fountain Planter's arrangement includes in-season plants and décor pieces. The leaves as the backdrop are inspired by Sophie Parker's art style of painting plant leaves with different patterns and colors.

All of the pieces within the display are made with paper and designed by Graphic Designer, Kassa Matthews. "I wanted to elevate the typical fall florals by using a dramatic scale that demands attention. By using the Hub Beveled Mirror, we’re encouraging engagement with our customers, who become a huge part of this display through their interactions" says Matthews.Â
Â
"We wanted to harness the floral integrity of the Fountain Planter by exaggerating the linear texture of the planter itself, but also creating a warm and extravagant feature by utilizing bold autumn colors" explains Jr. Product Designer, Aine O'Neill.
