Born out of a passion for creating original designs for every home, Umbra has continued to bring new innovations, ideas and collections to the global market. 1994 - HUB MIRROR

 

Umbra Hub Mirror

 

Designed by Paul Rowan for Umbra, the classic Hub Mirror has been a beautiful home staple for many years. Originally released in 1994, Hub's unique rubber rim adds a simple modern touch, making it a versatile wall piece for nearly any home. Attracting light to your space and making it appear bigger, this wall mirror can open up any space and becomes the finishing touch you never even knew you needed.

1997 - GARBINO TRASH CAN

 

 

Designed by Karim Rashid in 1997, the Garbino Can is Umbra’s award-winning garbage can and is on permanent display at MoMA. With a swerving rim, flowing curves, and clever use of negative space, this small can is bound to be pleasing to the eye. More elegant than your average garbage can, Garbino is available as a recycling bin and in an array of colors including matte black and translucent white.

1998 - OH CHAIR

 

Umbra Oh Chair

 

Karim Rashid designed the Oh Chair because he wanted to redefine the plastic chair by creating something that was portable, durable and attractive, unlike the typical chairs he had seen on patios. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the Oh Chair is durable and weather-resistant while remaining comfortable to sit in. With soft lines and a simple modern aesthetic, this versatile chair is the perfect addition for a variety of spaces that need extra seating. The Oh Chair is the recipient of the 1999 IDEA Award and is included in the MoMA SF, Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco.

Brought back in 2020, Umbra Arling Magazine Rack was initially launched in 2002, designed by Paul Rowan. With a warm wooden design, Arling is crafted out of beautiful bentwood and showcases your magazines, records or books with its open V-shape design. Its modern and unique streamlined silhouette integrates seamlessly by a sofa, console or desk to provide both function and style.

2013 - PRISMA PICTURE FRAME

 

Umbra Prisma Picture Frame

 

Designed by Sung wook Park in 2013, the Prisma Picture Frame has become a fan favourite, thanks to its unique and detailed design. The original geometric wire picture frame floats your photo between two panes of glass while allowing the frame to show through. The Prisma Collection has expanded to include various sizes of picture frames and elegant finishes, and its versatility allows it to be hung, shown off on a tabletop or displayed either vertically or horizontally.
