Applying an architectural cubist shape, livroche can display books or stand by itself as a sculpture in anyenvironment. Handcarved from natural stone, theweight is approximately 10 lbs. (4.5 kilos).

David comes from a school of minimalist design; sculpture and architecture are his main muses. While studying at the Rhode Island School of Design, he lived with abstract photographer Aaron Siskind, who inspired him to create his own esthetics of a clean, economical design.
