I bought one of these for my son several years ago (and, remarkably 4 moves ago). We use it as his hamper ... I originally got it because when he was young he liked the swing lid and I liked that the dirty clothes were out of sight ... now that heĀ?s a teen, I like that the lid traps in the odors too as I only empty his hamper about twice a week! This is a great product ... it's taken a lot of use and abuse and it still looks great!
