Dress your windows quickly and beautifully without screws or hardware

Umbra senior designer Matt Carr revisited the tension rod to give it a fresh, appealing silhouette. "This product has performance as well as style," he says. "It’s a great update to casual window hardware.”

Three variations – Centaur, Crest and Coretto – are available in finishes including aged brass, pewter, black and white, and are available in the following sizes: 10-15", 15-24", 24-36" and 36-54". For added length, Coretto also comes in 54-90”.

CENTAUR, CREST and CORETTO tension rods are paired with decorative finials that range from contemporary to traditional and have integrated non-slip pads, which enhance function without sacrificing form. The finials also have slim profiles, so curtains can be properly draped within the window frame, allowing very little light to seep through the edges.

Carr also recommends other creative uses for Umbra's decorative drapery tension rods, such as screening off a small alcove or storage area or displaying light-catching looped strings of beads and crystals in windows that don't require full coverage.
