Responsibilities:
  • • Assist with sales oriented product descriptions and related linking on website.
  • • Write all content for corporate portion of company website and keep up to date
  • • Assist with postings and customer interaction for social media sites
  • • Assist with linking for different forms of media on company website
  • • Perform coordination of internal and external communication
  • • Communicate and compile marketing and tradeshow analytics
  • • Compile and execute stock orders when needed for department and tradeshows
  • • Assist with internal and external Marketing event coordination that may include travel and entertainment bookings to offsite rentals. This includes tradeshow bookings and rentals required.
  • • Support and assist with all internal corporate marketing activities such as seasonal events, corporate communications, and HR publishing.
  • • Compile monthly meeting reports/visuals to aid managers in presentation preparation.
  • • Create copy for marketing related materials and presentations.
  • • Assist with Marketing guideline documents, including shop in shop and tradeshows.
  • • Perform merchandising related duties for tradeshows and assist with shop in shop initiatives.
  • • Assist with PO requisitions, required show documents, and outside vendors pertaining to tradeshows.
  • • Other job duties assigned as necessary.

Knowledge Requirements:
  • • University or college graduate in Marketing or Communications.
  • • Specialization in e-commerce an asset
  • • Strong communication skills (written, oral and presentation)
  • • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities:
  • • Preparing morning and lunch meals for a staff of around 90 -100 employees.
  • • Prepping for catering of in house meetings.
  • • Overall management of the Café: Revenue, Stock of food, maintenance of equipment and cutlery/dishes/glasses.
  • • Able to manage a crew of 2 direct reports (kitchen help)
  • • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and ensure kitchen is clean, safe and a sanitary area.
  • • Daily paperwork and administration as required.

  • Knowledge Requirements:
    • • Experience in the food industry with possession a certificate in food preparation an asset.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual who is highly organized and has the proven ability to problem-solve. Reporting to the U.S Director of Sales, this position will be responsible for managing and developing sales with Walmart in the Home category (Drapery Dec Hardware) and partnering with Umbra Category Management and Design department to capture customer opportunities and expand the business into other Walmart departments.

Responsibilities:
  • • Grow current business and explore new opportunities in new departments.
  • • Manage and develop all account relationships which include Merchandising Team (including WM.com), Product Development, Replenishment, Accounting, Packaging and Transportation.
  • • Manage account day-to-day business which includes inventory, shipping, defective allowance and other sales related issues.
  • • Create sales and promotional plans and programs, and perform business updates and prepare for all line reviews.
  • • Develop an accurate forecast on an ongoing basis.
  • • Achieve sales and profitability goals for the account based on the sales plan.
  • • Create an annual budget based on the sales plan.
  • • Support Umbra Category Management and Design team in gathering market information for line reviews and market assessments.
  • • Utilize POS information/reports effectively to grow the business.

Knowledge Requirements:
  • • A Bachelor degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • • 6-10 years of experience selling to national accounts at the Home Office level. Experience selling to WM a plus.
  • • Experience in the Home category with a National and/or Regional Customer base.
  • • Experience working with the Walmart Home category is a plus.
  • • Strong verbal, written and negotiating skills.
  • • A successful track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • • Ability to analyze business to effectively maintain and grow the business.
  • • Strong MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Retail Link experience is required.
  • • Strong forecasting experience is required.
  • • Strong budgeting experience is required.
  • • Ability to travel up to 10-20% is required.
  • • Must be self-motivated and able to multi task.
