Let's face it you have enough to think about when it comes to hosting. Here are 5 simple tips to ensure getting your home ready isn't one of them.
1. DE-CLUTTER THE ENTRYWAY
Clean-up your shoe clutter and make extra space for storing jackets. Your life will be easier if you don’t have to deal with running around the house looking for somewhere to put them. Consider new hooks for extra hanging space.
2. CLEAN THE BATHROOM
Clear anything that might be left on the vanity, fill up soap dishes and make sure there are fresh towels. Adding a scented candle is a nice touch.
3. EMPTY THE DISHWASHER
Dirty dishes are easier to manage when they have somewhere to go once they are cleared from the table.
4. WELCOME THEM WITH FESTIVE SCENT
Nothing is more inviting than holiday smells like cinnamon, pine and cranberry. Make your home smell festive with this fun and simple stove top potpourri from Baked Harvest. Get the recipe.
5. DIM THE LIGHTS

Your house and your guests look better in dim lighting, so turn down overhead lights and light some candles.
